September 2nd, 2002 - U.S Economy and Weapons of Mass Destruction

George Bush talks about Iraq and their weapons of mass destruction and wants to wage war on them because of their weaponry...

What about America and their WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION! Should England declare war on America because of the United States sophisticated weaponry?

I'm not alone in thinking Bush wants war to get rid of his outdated weaponry and endeavour to whip up his failing economy as that appalling September 11 strike is now crippling the American economy. We little people will never be told how grim it really is for the United States and the horrendous cost to the government to keep their country safe from terrorist attack.

Essentially, Osama bin Laden has succeeded because he is already crippling the USA. He has them terrified. Afghanistan is a waste of time and precious lives.

Let's hope the leaders of all the other right thinking nations of the world continue to stand up to George W. Bush and united, prevent him from starting a catastrophic war.

Let's hope little Johnny Howard, our Prime Minister, has enough guts to refuse to go to war for America. I know he's probably thinking America will come to our defence if necessary but if he, like the other major nations in the world, stands up to Bush then there'll be no need for another war, let alone one in our peaceful nation.

Anyway, we're not too bad at fighting our own battles. Read some history and see what a few hundred Aussie soldiers, untrained, did along the Kokoda Track. They fought against 14,000 highly trained and disciplined Jap fighters and forced them back to the eastern sea board of New Guinea.

I was a little girl then with my three brothers fighting in the war and I remember so much of those grim years - all too vividly in some cases - but with a great sense of pride in our soldiers. Then and now.
