AUSTRALIA DECLARES ITSELF TO BE NEUTRAL!

I listened to him being interviewed this morning on the A.B.C. That is Australia’s ‘A.B.C.’

He was in Manhattan on September 11th and ran towards the disaster reporting it live to the Sydney Morning Herald - which here in Australia was then the night of September 11.
He has been to Afghanistan and been shot at by the Taliban.
He has been in the Middle East and states that Israel and Palestine are hopelessly lost in their battle.

About Saddam Hussein and the war on Iraq - which he believes will take place because that idiot (my word) Bush, wants it - McGeough’s viewpoint is fascinating to say the least.

The surrounding Tribes that Saddam has under his control will revolt once Hussein is removed or killed by the Yanks.

The war against Iraq is dangerous not only because it is foolish but because it will lead the way for any country with sufficient weaponry to take on their enemy.

For example, and these are my thoughts, North Korea and South Korea, uneasy still these last fifty years. Pakistan and India.

WE AUSTRALIANS CAN SURVIVE IF WE HAVE A LEADER WITH SUFFICIENT COURAGE AND IMAGINATION TO DECLARE OURSELVES N E U T R A L.

Switzerland is successfully Neutral in the middle of chaotic Europe.

And We can be the one country in the Southern Hemisphere that can be successfully Neutral.

We need a Prime Minister (Simon Crean) who declares these to be his policies, that he will recall all our soldiers to Australia - for the purpose of defending our land only. He holds a Referendum about Us becoming a Neutral Nation.

Back to Paul McGeough, he sees America being attacked by Terrorists while they fight Iraq and the subsequent wars that will develop.

He states that America is a ‘Hyperpower’ and that like all empires will collapse in upon itself. History proves that and it’s something I stated quite a few Blogs back anyway.

He thinks it will take between ten and twenty years for the collapse to have brought down America. I think ten years myself.

John Howard to me and many, many fellow Australian’s, is a grave disappointment. He is following America like a witless lamb and leading us to a slaughter yard.

A slaughter we, as a Nation, do not want.

McGeough mentioned that the war of terrorism is "Asymmetrical".
He described this as being like ‘ships that pass in the night’.

In other words (say I) we don’t know who our ‘enemy’ is.

But in any case bin Laden (undoubtedly the anti-Christ we’ve all been waiting for) could be living in Manhattan, clean shaven, short hair, dressed like a hippy or a New York business man. Why not?

He could just as easily be living in Paris, London, Switzerland.

Or Saudi Arabia or - anywhere in the world. To me he is sheer evil but brilliant and not to be underestimated.

Before I sign off, ask yourselves this question, ‘if Saddam Hussein has all this hi-tech weaponry and deadly diseases, why hasn’t he unleashed them already - even months or years ago - on America?’

The Bubonic Plague alone will wipe out millions -
