For the thinkers, it left little doubt that George Bush had been warned about the September 11 attack. Hence the twin towers were virtually occupied by only a few (comparatively speaking) people. To lose around 3,000 out of those twin towers when they should have been normally held around 200,000 people simply does not compute.

Standing in the Oval Office, with her back to Bush, is Condoleezza Rice, the national security adviser. She, the article continues on page 22, has managed to become the highest-profile adviser since Henry Kissinger.

Study how relaxed Bush is early on the morning of September 12, 2001.

Nice to see him sitting back with his feet on the desk after such an horrendous day and night for most Americans.

Shocking and distressing would be better words to describe this scene.

This "Without a Doubt" article which begins on page 22, makes pretty terrifying reading. Particularly when you see the power Rice holds.

So it's not as if the Americans haven’t seen it also.

Australia...?

Have we become a colony of the United States now? Howard is just so Weak, nor did he listen to we Australians in our peaceful marches around Australia over this weekend just passed. We don’t need him for P.M.

Conclusion... Bush has Howard by the proverbial Short and Curlies...

Simon Crean should be using this opportunity to declare that Australia will become a neutral Nation and further, that our troops will immediately be returned to Australian soil - for defence purposes only - when he is elected Prime Minister.
