August 12th, 2004 - UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECTS

Tonight we were shown on ABC TV (Australian ABC) Britain’s X Files on UFO’s.

"One could say they were a bit of a bore, you know."

Says Helen putting a plum in her mouth to capture the Oxford Brit accent.

Okay, so I’ve seen two. Back in 1969. I was working through the ‘60’s supporting my family. I’d get home on Friday night, feed my children and gladly sink into bed ready to relax and enjoy two days at home with my three children.

My two youngest hauled me out of bed around 9p.m. to watch two flying saucers.

A fascinating experience.

Now, for those who are really interested, in the early 1960’s our then evening newspaper, "The Sun" displayed a photo of a Flying Saucer that had landed in someone’s garden in Double Bay.

Probably from a Mother ship I’d say judging by the size.

It’ll be there in the archives of The Sun. Anyway after that photo there was NOTHING...

The Poms? The Yanks?

Putting my head on the line, in the 1990s I met quite a number of Aliens and I’ve gone to some trouble to explain what they look like, the name of their planets and some of their remarkable abilities.

It’s great to be back again writing on my Blog. Life interfered with me rather seriously for a while but I’m back on target again.
