August 13th, 2004 - FORT KNOX

It crosses my mind from time to time how much gold there is now in Fort Knox.

Who is checking on it these days?

Is that stash of gold funding this incredibly stupid war against Iraq?

Is there an echo now inside the vault – caused by the emptying of same?

Or is Israel helping fund that war by its purchase of the latest Weapons of
Mass Destruction from America in its war against the stone throwing,
Self -immolating Palestinians in their brave but futile efforts to defend
their own country?
