Press Release - June 2001

Local Author Online!

Helen Benbow, author of the "Dark Side of Eternity" book quartet, went straight to the top last year when Minerva Press, UK, selected her works for publishing. Now she's gone global, with the launch of her new Web site.

Helen's Web site is at www.helenbenbow.com.au. "I want to encourage people to think - to think for themselves. I welcome them to contact me through the site to debate with me", she says.

Some of the site's interactive features include a message board, a form to 'submit your book review', a voting poll and forms for sending in your opinions, comments and ideas. Helen responds to all comments on her message board, so if you'd like to have your say or ask a question, feel welcome.

The site also has a comprehensive information section, including a full synopsis and review for each book, information about Helen and her other interests and submissions from her fans. In response to visitor requests she will soon be implementing a regular Web log, which will contain regular updates of her short stories and news.

You can even download the first chapter of her book for free, or buy it online.

"The Dark Side of Eternity" is compelling, offering a profound and entertaining read for everyone. It is a probing study of our relationships with one another throughout the history of Mankind as well as with the Deities worshipped by the Ancients, tribes, nations and religions.

Thought provoking and controversial, every reader will relate to the "Dark Side" quartet in a different way. You might be inspired, or even angered.

Aside from her authoring talents, Helen is well known for her expertise in mysticism and clairvoyance, teaching several times a week in Sydney and performing Tarot readings at Rose Cottage in Brunkerville on the weekends. She is frequently invited to give talks at Libraries and is fast approaching the "booked out" status for her training courses in Balmain.

Helen, whose maternal family are all Novocastrians, now lives at Windermere Park on the Lake. She is currently working on the third book of her quartet and a number of short stories.
