Some of my short stories have been inspired by observation - someone I know might clue me in with the way in which they are living their lives either through some amusing event, or a tragedy. Sometimes I have a vivid dream and proceed to write a novella around it. Daydreaming is my best avenue for ideas. To Catch a Shadow Despite the age difference, it was an instant love affair. This funny little creature wriggled and kissed his way into my life and quite a number of folk around the district also fell in love with him.
